Despite spending control, PDTRA buys JD 250,000 worth cars

Ammannet sources came to know that Petra Development Tourism Regional Authority (PDTRA) Chief Commissioner and Commissioners, who were recently appointed, have bought five brand new 'silver' 2010 Mercedes cars with a cost of JD 250,000. The 2010 Mercedes cars were distributed for: -                   Dr. Nasser Shraideh, Chief Commissioner -                   Mohammad Abdul Mohsen, Vice Chief Commissioner -                   Emad Hjazeen, Commissioner -                   Mohammad Ali Farjat, Commissioner -                   Mohammad Mumtaz Al-Qaisi, Commissioner Ammannet tried to call PDTRA to get clear view of the reasons behind buying new cars, yet, it could not. This car buying comes in the same time Petra Region suffers from big challenges with the development and organization elements, not to mention the weakness of the infrastructure, institutions, and tourist products, according to Nasser Shraideh, Chief Commissioner of PDTRA.
