Observers: Bedouins quota… positive racism
الرابط المختصر

Some observers might describe the Bedouins quota in the election law as encroachment for two reasons, first is that such action is against constitution that sees Jordanians equally. Second is that the law looks at Bedouins as minority where they are being recognized locally as tribal society.

Another point of view of observers sees such quota as unjust and prejudice towards Badia people as their constituencies are closed which prevents them from electing out of them or in any other Jordanian city.

Mohammad Al-Sharaa, previous MP for Bedouins of the middle said that Bedouins quota is considered as a positive racism that guarantees the rights of minorities in the Jordanian society.
