Activists asks Jordan to lift reservations on child law

Human rights activists have renewed their calls on Jordan to left its reservations on articles (14, 20, and 21) of international agreement for child rights, saying they are against child's best interest.

Jordan has issued its last child's right report on its commitment in 2005 that kept these reservations as in the previous two reports. The main reason behind such reservations is that they do not get along with the Islamic Sharia in regards with the child's name and being related to his biological father.
