No law allows government to penetrate personal computers
Former lawyer's association president Saleh Armouty has criticized the government's acts represented by observing local's internet and e-mails of personal nature.
Armouty has told Ammannet that opinion and expression freedom through internet is guaranteed by law and constitution in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the government has no right to interfere with citizen's personal secrets.
“Constitution has reiterated on the secrecy of e-mails and that no one is to spy on individual's privacy under any circumstances” he added.
“penetrating Jordanians' personal computer devices is considered as violation of law and an insult for the public freedom' Armouty clarified.
In the same context, Mohammad Abdulqader, a citizen, thinks that the government should not observe our personal e-mails or our own accounts on facebook website.
