Inter duo Milito & Cambiasso ruled out for three weeks
Inter duo Diego Milito and Esteban Cambiasso will be out of action between two and three weeks after sustaining injuries, according to La Repubblica.
The Argentine pair picked up knocks on international duty in a friendly against Japan and tests on Monday confirmed they are set to miss some crucial matches after suffering muscle strains. They will miss next weekend's trip to Cagliari as well as the Champions League group stage clash with Tottenham Hotspur at San Siro.
However, the examinations at the Angelo Moratti sports centre assured the South Americans will be back well in tile for the Club World Cup in the UAE from December 8-18.
Cambiasso has been a key cog in the midfield for coach Rafael Benitez all season, while Milito has been struggling for form, only finding the back of the net twice in 2010-11.
