State Security Court sends Sneid to 3-month imprisonment

The State Security Court has issued, during a public session, its decision to send Mohammad Sneid, the head of the day labor workers, to three months in prison for illegal gathering.

The court has decided that these three months start from the date of apprehension in last May, when he was apprehended for 15 days in Balqaa prison for the same charge.

It is worth mentioning that Sneid has been transferred to the State Security Court by the Court of First instance in Madaba following a sit-in outside the 'partnership for democracy' center during a seminar for the minister of agriculture Saeed Al-Masri.

A group of workers have organized a sit-in last May in front of the police station as they were against the minister for firing Sneid and his coworkers for protesting over the firing of other day labor workers as security forces interfered and arrested some protesters along with Sneid himself.
