New season launched at Al-Balad Radio

Al-Balad Radio has launched a new season this year that includes a number of new programs such as 'Lajeoon' (Refugees) that talks about refugees in the kingdom and their day to day life through questioning a number of issues that have to do with camps' residents.

Journalist Asmaa Raja, producer and presenter of the program that is being broadcasted every Monday at 2:30 PM, said that the idea of her program came from the importance of concentrating, as a community radio, on all aspects of life in Amman that includes camps on their large scale and the demands of its residents, in addition to the need for a specialized program to discuss services and community issues there.

Rawan Jayousi comes to us with a new program 'Mish Ramadi' (Not Gray) that is being broadcasted every Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday at 4:00 PM, during which she comes up with an issue of an importance to the Jordanian citizen where participants give their opinions based on a clear stand that can not take more than an explanation.

Jayousi said that this program shall work on enhancing the dialogue culture that encourages audience to express their opinions in freely. Mish Ramadi includes plenty of sections accompanying the listener from the moment he leaves his job for home.

'Eye on media' continues with host Sawsan Zaideh every Monday at 11:30 AM by monitoring media reviews in Jordan throughout correspondents and guests.

Zaideh said that we need to go on with our approach depending on creative criticism that raise the performance level of the Jordanian media.
