Real Madrid midfielder Kaka will make his long-awaited return from injury against Getafe tomorrow evening, according to the club’s official website.

The Brazilian, who has not featured for Los Blancos since facing Athletic Bilbao at the end of last season, is ahead of schedule as he recovers from a knee operation.

It was initially thought that he would tentatively return in the second leg of Los Blancos’ Copa del Rey tie with Levante, with an 8-0 first leg win already secured.

However, following AS comments that the former Milan playmaker will be included in the squad for the capital derby on Monday evening, the club recently announced the former Milan star in the squad list 238 days since his last call.

The third most expensive signing in history at €65 million, the 29-year-old can now look forward to kick-starting his career at the Santiago Bernabeu by putting his fitness problems well and truly behind him.

In the meantime Gonzalo Higuain and Jerzy Dudek miss the cut due to injury.

The full 20-man list:

Goalkeepers: Casillas, Adan, Pacheco.
Defenders: Albiol, Marcelo, Sergio Ramos, Arbeloa, Garay.
Midfielders: Xabi Alonso, Khedira, Gago, Lass, Granero, Oezil, Di Maria, Kaka, Canales, Pedro Leon.
Forwards: Cristiano Ronaldo, Benzema.
