Day labor sit-in in front of royal court

Day labor workers have renewed their protesting activities by calling on reappointing the fired workers from work at the ministry of agriculture as more than 80 workers had a sit-in in front of the royal court.

Mohammad Sneid, the head of the day labor committee at governmental institutions and directorates, has said that this is the 41st sit-in since the establishment of the committee in 2006, reiterating that the workers shall not stop or give their demands away that do not exceed normal rights.

Sneid has explained that this sit-in incudes both fired and current workers for the manipulation some ministries had as they have stolen 528 posts from 1628 where the Civil Services Court has decided to transfer day labors to official workers, yet, 1100 only have been transferred.
