According to Israeli occupation authorities claims, the MP (Jordanian sources say it is MP Imad Udwan) was seized trying to smuggle large quantities of weapons through the King Hussein bridge inside his vehicle. Israel claims that they discovered three bags containing 12 machine guns, 270 medium and small weapons, and 100 kilos of Gold. Photos and videos circulating on social media didn’t include the alleged gold.

Reports suggest that the inspection was not initially scheduled to be carried out. However, information was received by the Israeli authorities, prompting them to conduct the inspection that ultimately led to the seizure of the weapons and gold.

Former MP @TarekSamiKhoury says that the insertion of gold into the smuggling charges against a JordanianMP is an Israeli lie to make it look like the MP is doing this for the money

BTW 100 kilos of gold would be worth $6 million. No gold was seen in the photos Israel released
