Raslan Deiranieh the Chief Finance Officer at Orange has told Ammannet that Communication Company has decided to go with its decision to increase the prices of the mobile credit cards despite the new exemptions the government has issued with regards to the information communication and technology sector.

Minister of Information and Communications Technology Marwan Jumaa has decided to increase the taxes on mobile phone services from 8% to 12% starting August 2010.

Deiranieh explained that such taxes shall limit the growth in the mobile sector which will lead eventually to a problem, yet, internet exemptions will help the sector to move forward.
