Miyahuna fired employees renew sit-in
Fired employees of Miyahuna company have renewed their sit-in in front of the Prime Ministry building along with their families as they asked the company to rethink of the firing decision that included 35 employees last month.
Some children had signs asking the company to look at them with compassion, mainly because of the upcoming holy month of Ramadan and the new semester of school.
Former employee Fadi Abu Al-Basal said that the random firing of the employees came in the light of the company's restructuring of the salary sector, and not of that for those who have not been working for the company for more that six months as Miyahuna declared.
Abu Al-Basal said that he spent 11 years at the company, as other fired employees have spent more than 16 years at the company, which is against what the company mentioned.
