The Austrian ambassador to Jordan Oskar Wustinger paid a visit to Community Media Network (radio al Balad and Ammannet) Sunday and met with its director Daoud Kuttab and the head of Radio al Balad.

A discussion of the local and regional issues took place. The embassy in Amman is also responsible for Iraq which has elections coming up soon. Also participating in the discussions was Johanna Rohland-Lindner the deputy head of the mission and first secretary.

Jordanian-Austrian trade tourism and cultural exchange were also discussed as both Jordan and Austria appear to have taken control of the Covid-19 pandemic. Austria is expecting a very senior Jordanian official to visit in the coming months with the goal of improving relations between the two countries.
