عمان نت -عمان  – بعد ثلاث سنوات من بدء تنفيذه، اختتم مشروع RYSE النجاح الذي حققه بحدث في فندق سانت ريجيس في عمان يوم الثلاثاء الموافق ٢٠ يونيو ٢٠٢٣. يعدّ مشروع  RYSE شراكة متعددة الأطراف بين ميرسي كور، أجيال السلام، إنجاز، مؤسسة نهر الأردن، بقيادة المجلس الدنماركي للاجئين وبتمويل من مؤسسة نوفو نورديسك، وقد حقق تقدمًا كبيرًا في تمكين الأفراد الشباب في الأردن لتحقيق القدرة الاجتماعية والاقتصادية.

تم إطلاق مشروع RYSE في عام ٢٠٢٠ بهدف معالجة التحدّيات الفريدة التي يواجهها الشباب في الأردن وتوفير فرص أفضل لـ ٢٥،٠٠٠ من الشباب السوري والأردني المتأثّرين والمعرّضين للضعف. تشمل نهج التخرج في المشروع المشاركة الفعالة للأفراد الشباب وتوفير الأدوات والمهارات والدعم اللازم لتجاوز العقبات ومتابعة سبل العيش المستدامة.

طوال فترة تنفيذ المشروع، ساهم RYSE في خلق بيئة شاملة وممكّنة للشباب من خلال مجموعة من الأنشطة والمبادرات. وتشمل هذه الأنشطة برامج التدريب المهني، وتنمية ريادة الأعمال، والتوجيه المهني، والدعم النفسي الاجتماعي، والوصول إلى الخدمات الأساسية. ركّز المشروع على تعزيز قدرات الشباب لإطلاق إمكاناتهم الكاملة وأن يصبحوا مساهمين نشطين في مجتمعاتهم والمجتمع الأردني الأوسع.

جلبت كل من المنظمات الخمس خبراتها وتجاربها وشبكاتها الواسعة إلى الطاولة، مما يضمن نهجًا شاملاً وشاملاً لتمكين الشباب. تحت قيادة المجلس الدانماركي للاجئين وبدعم سخي من مؤسسة نوفو نورديسك، تجاوز المشروع أهدافه وأثر بشكل إيجابي في حياة الآلاف من الشباب في جميع أنحاء الأردن.

ضمن الأنشطة الختامية للمشروع، تم عقد حدث خاص يوم الثلاثاء الموافق 20 يونيو للاحتفال بالإنجازات والمراحل التي تم تحقيقها من خلال مشروع RYSE. تضمن الحدث شهادات من المستفيدين الشباب ومنظمات الشركاء وممثّلي الحكومة وأصحاب المصلحة الرئيسيين الذين ساهموا في نجاح المشروع. كما قدّم الحدث الختامي منصة للاستفادة من الدروس المستفادة ومشاركة أفضل الممارسات ومناقشة الفرص المستقبلية للحفاظ على الزخم الذي أحدثه مشروع RYSE.

Closing Event Marks Successful Completion of "Resilient Youth, Socially and Economically Empowered" (RYSE) Project in Jordan

[Amman, June 20th, 2023] – Three years after its start, the RYSE project has successfully concluded with an event in the St. Regis in Amman on Tuesday, June 20th, 2023. RYSE is a multi-stakeholder partnership between Mercy Corps, Generations for Peace, Injaz, Jordan River Foundation, led by the Danish Refugee Council and funded by the Novo Nordisk Foundation, has made significant strides in empowering young individuals in Jordan to achieve social and economic resilience.

Launched in 2020, the RYSE project aimed to address the unique challenges faced by youth in Jordan and offer better opportunities to 25,000 young Syrian refugees and vulnerable young Jordanians. The project's Graduation Approach involved engaging young individuals and providing them with the necessary tools, skills, and support to overcome barriers and pursue sustainable livelihoods.

Throughout the project's duration, RYSE has fostered an inclusive and empowering environment for youth through a range of activities and initiatives. These include vocational training programs, entrepreneurship development, mentorship, career guidance, psychosocial support, and access to essential services. The project focused on enhancing the capacities of young people to unlock their full potential and become active contributors to their communities and the broader Jordanian society.

Each of the five organisations brought their expertise, experience, and extensive networks to the table, ensuring a holistic and well-rounded approach to youth empowerment. Under the leadership of the Danish Refugee Council and with the generous support of the Novo Nordisk Foundation, the project has exceeded its goals and positively impacted the lives of thousands of young individuals across Jordan.

As part of the project's closing activities, a special event was held on Tuesday June 20th, to celebrate the accomplishments and milestones achieved by the RYSE project. The event featured testimonials from young beneficiaries, partner organizations, government representatives, and other key stakeholders who have contributed to the project's success. The closing event also provided a platform to reflect on lessons learned, share best practices, and discuss future opportunities to sustain the momentum generated by RYSE.

Fatma Chahidi, the Country Director of the Danish Refugee Council in Jordan said: "The completion of the RYSE project is a testament to the power of collaboration and the commitment of all partners involved. We are immensely proud of the impact RYSE has made in empowering young individuals and promoting their social and economic resilience.
