عمان نت - عمّان، الأردن - تحت رعاية صاحبة الجلالة الملكة رانيا العبدالله المعظمة، وبمناسبة مرور خمسين عاماً على تأسيس منظمة أطباء بلا حدود. تقيم المنظمة معرضاً للصور بعنوان "خمسون عاماً من الإنسانية" في مركز غاليري رأس العين في العاصمة الأردنية عمّان.

‎يضم المعرض أكثر من خمسين صورة من مناطق متنوعة لأماكن عمل المنظمة حول العالم بالإضافة إلى لوحات بفن الخط وأفلام عن المنظمة. ويستعرض أنشطة مختلفة لفرق المنظمة العاملة في مناطق الحروب والنزاعات والكوارث الطبيعية والأوبئة والتي يحدد إطار عملها الأخلاقيات الطبية ومبادئ الاستقلالية والحيادية وعدم التحيز.

وتستعرض الصور سياقات عمل منظمة أطباء من تقديم رعاية الكوليرا في اليمن إلى خدمات التطعيم في سوريا ومن إدارة البرامج الطبية في كوسوفو إلى إغاثة ضحايا التسونامي في سريلانكا ومن رعاية الإيبولا في غينيا إلى الاستجابة لمرض كوفيد-19 في الأردن.

يأتي المعرض إحياء لخمسين سنة من العمل وسط التحديات بهدف تقديم الرعاية الطبية بشقيها الأساسية والمتخصصة لمن هم بأمس الحاجة لها. ولا يعني استمرار عملنا اليوم سوى أن الاحتياجات ما تزال قائمة. وأن ما نقدمه اليوم لا يمثل سوى جزء بسيط من حجم الاحتياجات الإنسانية على اختلافها. وأن معاناة الأشخاص ستتواصل باستمرار الكوارث الطبيعية وتلك التي من صنع الإنسان.

وقالت رئيسة المكتب الإعلامي لمنظمة أطباء بلا حدود للشرق الأوسط وشمال إفريقيا إيناس أبو خلف، "إننا ننظر إلى إقامة هذا المعرض كفرصة لخلق حالة تقارب بين منظمة أطباء بلا حدود والزوار ومشاركتهم بأهم محطات عملنا الطبي والإنساني على مدار النصف قرن الماضي. لم تكن مسيرة أطباء بلا حدود خلال الخمسين عاماً الفائتة مليئة بالإنجازات فقط، ولكن واجهت فرقنا في الميدان الكثير من التحديات التي أعاقت إيصال الرعاية لمن هم في أمس الحاجة إليها، ولذلك يأتي هذا المعرض في إطار جهودنا لتسليط الضوء على سياقات إنسانية تم تهميشها إعلامياً ولذلك، فإنه من الضرورة بمكان أن نعمل على كسر الصورة النمطية لكيفية إيصال أصوات من يرزحون تحت وطأة الأزمات الإنسانية". 2

تأسّست منظمة أطبّاء بلا حدود في العام 1971 في باريس على يدّ مجموعة من الصحفيين والأطبّاء. واليوم، توسعت هذه المنظمة لتصبح حركة عالمية تضمّ أكثر من 65,000 شخصٍ تربط بينهم المبادئ الواردة في ميثاقنا.

تعمل أطباء بلا حدود في الأردن منذ عام 2006. وقد مُنحت المنظمة جائزة الملك حسين للقيادة الإنسانية في عام 2004. أمّا في عمّان، فنواصل علاج جرحى الحرب من جميع أنحاء المنطقة في مستشفى الجراحة التقويمية. كما ندير ثلاثة مكاتب إقليمية في عمّان تقدم الدعم العملياتي والمؤسسي لمشاريع المنظمة في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال إفريقيا. وقد قدمت فرقنا تبرعات وأجرت تدريبات لنقابة الأطباء الأردنية.

MSF commemorates half a century of humanitarian work in a photo exhibition in Amman

ِAmman net - Amman, Jordan - Under the patronage of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah, Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) inaugurates "Fifty Years of Humanity" a photo exhibition commemorating the 50th anniversary of MSF’s establishment. The event takes place at Ras Al-Ain Gallery in Amman.

The exhibition has fifty photos from various countries where the organization’s work, in addition to calligraphy paintings and movies about the organization. The event exhibits various activities of the organizations teams working in war torn countries, natural disasters and epidemic outbreak contexts, where the standards of medical ethics and the principals of neutrality, impartiality and independence set the team’s framework. 

The photos display the organization’s interventions from the cholera treatment centers in Yemen to vaccination services in Syria and from managing medical services in Kosovo to aiding Tsunami survivors in Sri Lanka, and from the emergency response in Guinea to the Covid-19 response in Jordan.

The exhibition commemorates fifty years of humanitarian work fraught with the challenges to provide medical care for people in need. The continuity of our work today only means that needs are still existing, and that the suffering of humankind will continue as long as there are natural and manmade disasters.

 “We see this exhibition as a chance to create a state of proximity between our organization and the visitors and to share with them our most important medical and humanitarian stations in the past half century. MSF’s journey in the past fifty years was not full of achievements only, but also faced many challenges in delivering medical care to whom most in need, thus, this exhibition comes as one of our many efforts in shedding light on humanitarian contexts that were under reported in the media, therefor it is necessary to break the stereotypical image of conveying the voices of those who are under the impact of crises.” The head of Amman regional communication hub Enass Abu – Khalaf says.

MSF was founded in 1971, in Paris, by a group of journalists and doctors. Today, the organization expanded into a global movement having more than 65,000 members bounded together by the principles of our charter.

MSF has been operating in Jordan since 2006. It was awarded Hussein Leadership Prize in 2004. In Amman; we are treating war wounded from all over the region in our reconstructive surgery hospital. We also run three regional offices in Amman that offers operational and institutional support for MSF projects in the Middle East and North Africa. Furthermore, our teams have given donations and conducted training to the Jordan Medical Association.
