Jordan Central Bank has issued a circulation for working banks in Jordan to get rid of their stocks of checkbooks that have no security marks, an to withdraw old checkbooks from their customers and provide them with the new ones that have these marks as soon as possible.

The central bank has given banks a timeout until the 30^th of June 2010 to apply security marks (water and light) according to the checks security and technical specification close of the electrical clearing system
