The mayor of Greater Amman Municipality (GAM), Eng. Omar Al Maani said that Al-Ghabawi dumpsite located in the far east of the capital is considered one of the best in the Middle East area in regards with environmental safety and packaging approach.

Engineer Al-Maani has indicated as well to that GAM works on a complete project with main axes of installing two conversion plants in west and north of Amman to enhance the efficiency of garbage collecting and delivering, not to mention installing the third cell in the dumpsite and providing needed technical capabilities to generate power, burn methane, and sell carbon units.
